That’s why I encourage them to play matching games or animal sound games like Animal Farm. But when that runs out where do you turn. Well, for I’d say 2 to 5 year olds storybooks are another great option and Stepwork’s The Boy Who Cried Wolf, $0.99, is very impressive.
Battery Magic Pro, $1.99, is a cool little app that helps you understand how much battery life you have left. It lists how much longer you can expect your battery to last on nine different fronts. From the longest lasting, standby, to the quickest battery drain, 3D Game Play. This lets you know how much longer you have before your battery dies. So for those you curious as to what drains more battery – wifi, 3G or talk time . . . . .
So Apple has approved 100,000 apps. Geez, that’s a lot of crap! Thank God there are maybe a few hundred that are good. I try to find those for ya and I think I have one in Glu’s Super KO Boxing 2, $4.99. If you were a fan of the classic Mike Tyson’s punchout on Nintendo, I think you’ll love this game. The characters are well done and over the top, the sound is awesome and even the text in between rounds is quite funny.
