New version of ultrasn0w, 1.0-1, is out. Just search for it on Cydia. If you can’t find it add the repo (source) repo666.ultrasn0w.com. Download to your iPhone, launch the app and you’re done. This works for iPhone 4 baseband 01.59 and iPhone 3G & 3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04. If switching to T-Mobile in USA (really the only option because you can’t switch to Verizon or Sprint cause they are not GSM networks) you will have to cut your SIM card down to microSIM size. I haven’t done this but seen many videos and it doesn’t look to hard. Here is a guide. The key is to align the three center areas. The rest doesn’t matter.

Told you it wouldn’t be long. And Comex made it worth the wait as this is the easiest most idiot proof jailbreak ever! This is a web based jailbreak meaning you do it all on your iPhone. That’s right you don’t hook it up to your computer. Just open Safari on your iPhone and goto http://www.jailbreakme.com and slide to start the install. In about five minutes you’ll have Cydia. This jailbreak works on all iPhones running 4.0 or 4.0.1 and iPads running 3.2.1. Be sure to backup your SHSH blobs with tiny umbrella here before you jailbreak. Also, the website and Cydia are slammed right now so it may be slow. IMO, the best thing to do is wait a week to see what bugs pop up and need to be worked out.
