The new untethered jailbreak for all iOS devices (iPhone, iPad & iPod) on current iOS 6.1 firmware was released today. It’s nice to see the Cydia icon on my iPhone 5. As with all modern jailbreaks, it is so simple a child or grandma could do it. As you can see in the video guide all you need is a Mac or PC, an iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 6.0 through 6.1 and a sync cable. Be sure to disable the lock passcode of your iOS device before using evasi0n. It’s under Settings – General. Within five minutes you’ll have Cydia and can start adding Sources and downloading tweaks.
