So now that I have an iPad 2 I’ve been looking at the different ways to convert files to mp4. The main issue being what size looks best on iPhone doesn’t look best on iPad or television. Most the links on this site have been converted at a size of 320 x 240 pixels. This looks fine on an iPod or iPhone, but gets blury on an iPad or television. The only advantage to this is a smaller file size (less time to download). For a typical one hour TV show (actually they are about 42 minutes less commercials) the size is 125 MB. This compares to 250MB for a show converted at an iPad/TV optimized size of 640 x 480. Makes sense – double the dimensions and you double the file size. Having an iPad now and seeing the difference in quality I’ve decided to start posting the bigger (higher quality) dimension links. If you watch on an iPod or iPhone you won’t notice any difference other than the file will take twice as long to download. Hope everyone is well. Added Face Off for calebcj85, Fast Times at Ridgemont High for 115sm2330, The Boondock Saints, The Goods: Live Hard Sell Hard and ET. On TV shows we started adding Reaper and Mad Men. Finales of True Blood and Hung should be up very soon along with Entourage. I also posted a number of links in the Forum so check there to see if your request has been met. Also, consider adding to your profile please. Most of the Forum links are through linkbucks which is slightly annoying but many uploaders use it to make a little extra cash. Hope you all appreciate that we only link directly to megaupload (no spam) and only to mp4 files.

Hey, I just got back from three days at Lake Lanier so haven’t gotten as many requests as would have liked. Kids had a blast so it was well worth it. Anyway, for movies added Spirited Away for Chris and Fair Game for vterra09. I also added better quality mp4 files for Halloween 2 and Ice Age 3. As far as TV shows, I’ve been adding Chuck for Nori and Flipping Out for capricious86 (hope you burn a few extra calories). I also got Sons of Anarchy up to date for Kodi. There was no new HBO last night and most the season finales are this week (anyone looking forward to True Blood?).

New Movie Monday includes Easy Money for bxshade, GI Joe for scott.tooz, Star Wars, Happy Feet (for the kids) and for my man st0ney I got Cheech & Chong’s classic Up In Smoke. Went ahead with TV show Tuesday as well – HawthoRNe for bettyboop and starting Grey’s Anatomy and The Secret Life of an American Teenager. Last Night’s Entourage and Hung are up and True Blood will be in the morning. Always mp4 for your convenience.

So, I added a few new movies – Air Force One for dhalla, Fan Boys for kodi-phipps, Vegas Vacation for hbronco960925 and a few very recent cam quality movies. On TV shows I’ve almost finished every episode of Weeds! I love this show. Check it out if you haven’t ever watched it. I put in Backyardigans so you’d have a second cartoon choice for kids other than Scooby Doo. As always, files are mp4 for your convenience. Contest should be up on Friday

New mp4 movies for your iPod, iPhone or iTouch were only 4 this week as a lot was added to TV Section and we did some jailbreakin videos too. I will categorize the TV show section soon – I promise. Let me know if you like them. New TV Shows were Deadliest Warrior for owenbas (like the show names on this one), 10 Things I Hate About You for queen101 (give Dexter or Weeds a try?), Warehouse 13 for AbhiSingh and lots of Scooby Doo Where Are You for cw75158. Thanks for making the point about lack of kid friendly TV. I swear I’ve seen all 25 episodes and most many, many times. A Tiki Scare is No Fair is classic! I’ve added 27 Dresses for queen101, S Darko for Chris and Public Enemies for casale2a. However, Public Enemies is in .avi format. You will need to convert it to mp4 before you drop it into itunes. Just search google for “Free avi to mp4 converter” and try one depending on if you have Mac or PC.  I also added Bruno for MikeCaro94 and Harry Potter & Half Blood Prince for a few of you!! I’ve mentioned before, these are newer movies so the quality isn’t as good. The audio on Bruno seems distant. That coupled with his accent in the movie makes it hard to watch for some I’m sure while others will just turn up the volume and not be bothered at all. This movie is not for the pure of heart. Harry Potter is in better quality but has Dutch (I think) sub titles at the bottom.  Again, if you would provide feedback I’ll know if you want more current movies like this or not. App Review Thursday finally returns this week! Will have last nights True Blood and Entourage up for TV show Tuesday as well.

So I added 28 Weeks Later for geewit, Sin Nombre for killergsr and gnob, Trainspotting for Dad and Valkyrie for Scape. Scape, Valkyrie is a zip file (the only non-mp4 file on the site). I’m sure you won’t have any problems with it and thanks for putting a post about my site in canadaka.net forum.

Now, I was also going to add Stephen King’s IT and Godfather Part 1. However, both these files are over 1.0 GB and thus you can only download if you have a premium membership from Megaupload. Since most people don’t, I’m just putting these two links here. I tried to zip them but that didn’t shrink the file size any. If anyone has better idea, please let me know.
