Update August 1, 2010 – The newest jailbreak has been released and is much easier. See this page for the latest and easiest jailbreak. This video shows when I upgraded my firmware from 3.0 to 3.1.2 on my iPhone 3G and then jailbroke it. It was a little harder back in the day, but not bad.
